The program examines several landmarks in Jerusalem. The audio will explain the prophecies about Cyrus and the gates of Jerusalem.
Below are the eight gates that surround Jerusalem. We will focus on the Golden Gate also known as the Eastern Gate.
It has been sealed for hundreds of years. It was sealed by the Muslim conqueror Suleiman (Ottoman Turks) in 1530 A.D. Suleiman was informed of the prophecy about Messiah who will enter Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate when He returns. It consists of two doors that are blocked by rock, concrete and steel (iron). The Muslims also planted a graveyard in front of the gate to try to keep out Messiah. (This I find laughable, because NOTHING can restrict our Lord. Praise God!)
This is prophesied in Ezekiel 44:1-3
1 “Then He brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary which faces toward the east, but it was shut.Â
2 And the Lord said to me, “This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter by it, because the Lord God of Israel has entered by it; therefore it shall be shut.Â
3 As for the prince, because he is the prince, he may sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; he shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gateway, and go out the same way.â€
The front of the Eastern Gate is also blocked by an iron bar fence. As shown below.
The inside of the gate is also sealed with steel.
Will the iron bars be able to restrict our Lord Jesus from coming through when He returns?
